About the Artist;
My hobby has always been painting and drawing.
My childhood summers were spent walking the land on my
grandparents farm. Near my grandfather's barn
there were old cars sitting from the 1930's and 40's. I would try to
imagine the places these cars had been and who had once driven them.
That was my inspiration for painting automotive art.
After high school I joined the Marines for tuition and completed a BA in Arts Administration from Pfeiffer University. I'm currently a Museum Studies grad student with Johns Hopkins University. My goal is to work in a museum and/or teach art.In 2006 my work was shown at The Hickory Museum of Art and I painted a Veteran's Day mural for the City of Concord, NC. In 2008 I was asked to help paint a mural for the Extreme Makeover Home in Charlotte. Painting has been a blessing and I enjoy the relaxing process of making art. In 2010 I illustrated my first children's book and I look forward to doing more illustration in the future.
Thanks for visiting.
